Our federal minister for education demands a new pedagogy. A more self-confident one.

No bad start.

But she continues to demand more self-confidence concering 'German' culture and identity.

Bad conclusion

They all talk about integration. But they mean the opposite. They want seggregation. They want the 'foreigners' to leave. They want to have their country for themselves. Thus they formulate demands of integration, which are impossible to be met.

'African' football players on European football grounds are used to racist abuse by the fans. They are called names, are greeted with imitations of monkeys, are attacked. The FIFA has issued rules according to which the teams are punished when they do not act against the racism of their teams. But little happens.

A few days back a 'Black' football player in Germany was confronted with such a situation. Nobody stopped the fans. After he was attacked physically he confronted the fans and showed them the 'Hitlergruß' (the salutation of the Nazi period) - which I consider a quite appropriate reaction. But afterwards he was charged with showing an unconsitutional symbol. Even if this charge was soon withdrawn, something is wrong here. The racists can do what they want, while the victim of their racism is charged for promoting racism.

The international tests of schools have already shown it. German schools marginalise marginalised students further. Especially the children of 'migrants' suffer from this. Together with the general discrimination of socially and economically marginalised 'migrants' this has led to a concentration of 'difficult' students in schools in neighbourhoods with a high proportion of 'migrant' population. The teachers are left without adequate training and resources to tackle the problems created thus. Now one school in Berlin has send a dramatic cry for help.

The media and politicians have immediately reacted to it, by now it is the main story on the main TV news magazine. But on the way they have got rid of the differentiated demands of the school and have reduced everything to the problem of the 'Muslims'. Not really helpful for the teachers and students, but perfectly fitting the general islamophobic sentiments.

Somebody glorifying the Nazis?
No? Strange. The district public prosecution authority in Stuttgart thinks that foreign tourists might mistake this symbol as glorifying nazism. They also fear that through this symbol the swastika could be made more popular. Thus they want to ban such symbols.
Isn't that very considerate of them?

Meanwhile racist ideas are becoming more and more accepted in 'German' society, politics and media. No matter to worry about.

German-speaking people have problems prounouncing my last name. It includes an 'oe' which they are used to pronounce in a special way. But in my name it is actually pronounced as an 'o' followed by a distinctive 'e'. I know they cannot know, so I explain. Today this again led to quite some irritation. I had the impression that the person I spoke to wanted to tell me the correct way of pronouncing my name. A recurring experience.

A German chain has launched a new advertisement campagain. In the wake of the football world championship they produced 'national' tv and radio clips. One more othering and racist than the other. In Togo people do not have names and do not talk, they just drum. In France they think solely about sex. And the 'Poles' are thieves. With the last one the chain overdid it. It got a lot of critique and withdrew it. The others are still online. Some because they are less racist, others because less people object.

Richard Lynn, Professor Emeritus, University of Ulster writes on his website among many other racist and sexist things:

" In 1991 I extended my work on race differences in intelligence to other races. I concluded that the average IQ of blacks in sub-Saharan Africa is approximately 70. It has long been known that the average IQ of blacks in the United States is approximately 85. The explanation for the higher IQ of American blacks is that they have about 25 per cent of Caucasian genes and a better environment.

The theory I have advanced to explain these race differences in IQ is that when early humans migrated from Africa into Eurasia they encountered the difficulty of survival during cold winters. This problem was especially severe during the ice ages. Plant foods were not available for much of the year and survival required the hunting and dismembering of large animals for food and the ability to make tools, weapons and clothing, to build shelters and make fires. These problems required higher intelligence and exerted selection pressure for enhanced intelligence, particularly on the Orientals."

He has just published a new book "Race Differences in Intelligence: An Evolutionary Analysis".

Incredible how racism has its place at European universities.

Germany is in acute danger of extinction. 'German' women do not bear enough children. Lots of men think about how this problem can be solved. Woman could get money for every child they give birth to. Or something else maybe. They seriously discuss this, the danger, how it can be solved. It is important to preserve the 'German' blood. It seems to be something special. Another racist discurs.

The German government seems to follow the rules of George Orwell's 'Animal Farm': Some are more equal than others.

If you are a German citizen and something happens to you abroad, then the German government will do it's best to guarantee your rights. But if you are a citizen living in Germany and due to the restrictive naturalisation rules you do not have the German citizenship, than the government might want to get rid of you, when you are in trouble.

A young 'German' with Turkish citizenship was interned in Guantanamo by the 'Americans'. According to a news magazine article more than three years ago the 'Americans' were willig to release him because they could not find anything which showed his involvement in acts of terrorism. But the German government was not willing to let him reenter Germany. They wanted him to be deported to Turkey. Thus he stayed in Guantanomo.

Not only some are more equal than others, some others do not seem to have any rights at all in Germany.
